Who we are

Merlin Star Press was founded by seven writers and an artist.  Six of the members belong to a large writers' group in New Brunswick, and since its conception we are proud to bring years of hard-won experience in publishing to the table. Publishing a novel with Merlin Star Press doesn’t just mean working with local publishers; it means support and encouragement by experienced writers with an in-depth knowledge of what it takes to publish a book in Atlantic Canada.

We have adopted the time-honoured publishing tradition of selecting the manuscripts we wish to publish, editing them, and taking the responsibility for promoting, marketing and distributing them.

Our goal is to find energetic authors, with the right manuscripts that will appeal to our readers, that we can help achieve their goals of taking words from the mind, to a manuscript, to many readers' hands.

If you feel you are one of the authors and meet our guidelines, please feel free to go to our submissions section and join us.
